It’s amazing park and I love the snow. It’s fun to shred but small park which is the only down side. The season pass is a cheaper and that’s why I love this park.

The best resort in western pa, and maybe the best across the whole state. Large for a PA resort, with limited back country access. It is better than many resorts found on the east coast, of the same latitude.
This at home cowboy town has it all. And the same can be said for the resort. Super nice people, many miles of fresh pow, and the hot springs will heal you back up for the next day of riding.
All of my friends think I am nuts for saying lets go south to shred. But for real, the high elevation, placement between the great lakes and the Atlantic ocean make for a noreaster lake effect you have to see to believe. Only down side is getting there, long slow drive with nothing around.
Freaking huge mt, this place earns its nickname beast on the east, as they are the first to open and the last to close each season. ( on the east coast). Many trails, and long lift lines.
This is a well rounded Mt that is a destination for many people on vacation from NYC or Philadelphia. With a great series of trails and lifts for all skill levels. The only gripe is the limited handicap bathrooms and long lift lines as the lay out could be improved.
This is the resort I learned how to snowboard. However its very small so will out grow it within weeks of learning snowboarding. Their diamonds are square in other resorts. The snow is not that good unless it has snowed big couple days before. However its a great mountain for beginners and kids. If you are planning a family trip where you have people who are not good at sking this is a perfect place to learn. Don't expect much of a night life here. Another pros is that it is so close to NYC.
Best and biggest resort that is closest to NYC. East coast snowboarding for anyone living in NYC is painful the closest ones are Hunter and Camelback and unless you are a beginner they are very small and not to mention crowded as hell. Killington is huge I think biggest in the east coast and about 4-5 hours from NYC so it doesn't get as crowded. The snow they get it fairly decent during the peak season expect to see good powder. The line for gondolas can get long during the weekends peak season. Being a huge mountain it has everything for every level of riders except off piste.
Pro great variety of terrain, super easy resort to access, never crowded, great snow conditions, locals mountain
Con meh terrain park but supposedly that will be changing this coming year
Pro great for families, very few flat traverses for snowboarders, great terrain park, rarely closes due to storms, village is nice if you’re into that sort of thing
Con parking is a bear. Not super steep compared to other resorts.
